What kind of products can I make with Benviro’s bioplastics?
Our bioplastics can be used to produce rigid, flexible and textile products, such as packaging, caps, films, bags, technical parts, yarns and fabrics. Formulations are tailored to the end use, the product’s service life and the technical requirements of each sector.
Are all products biodegradable?
Yes, but they do not all behave in the same way, because not every product requires the same end-of-life performance.
For example, an agricultural film must remain stable throughout the growing period and then biodegrade in the soil, whereas food packaging may be designed to compost within a waste management system.
At Benviro, we design biodegradable or compostable bioplastics according to the environment and required period of use, ensuring that the material fulfils its function and has an end of life consistent with its application.
How do I know which grade or formulation is right for my product?
We begin by analysing your application and your actual requirements. From there, we recommend the most suitable grade and formulation, with technical support throughout testing and validation, so that you can make decisions with confidence.
How do your product grades differ?
We work with technical grades designed according to the type of application: Rigid, for technical parts and packaging.
Flexible, for films and wrapping.
Textile, for yarns, fabrics and components.
Each grade can be adjusted in terms of properties such as strength, flexibility, finish and biodegradation time.
Can the material be adapted to the requirements of my sector?
Yes. Tailor-made formulation is a core part of our approach.
We adapt the material to the technical, aesthetic, regulatory and functional requirements of demanding sectors such as food, agriculture, cosmetics and textiles.
Can I test the material before moving to full-scale production?
Yes. We carry out material trials and industrial validation before moving to production. This makes it possible to assess performance, aesthetics and processability, and to refine the formulation if needed before scaling up.
