Can it be processed on conventional machinery?
Yes. beo is formulated to integrate into conventional industrial processes. During the initial trials, we adjust the process parameters to optimise material performance according to the technology and application.
Is it biodegradable?
Yes. beo is 100% biodegradable. Depending on the formulation, it can be developed for different biodegradation environments according to the application and intended end of life.
What does the industrial validation process look like?
We support you from the earliest trials, adjusting the process and validating material performance under real manufacturing conditions. From there, we optimise both formulation and process until we achieve a stable, reproducible and scalable solution.
What level of surface finish can be achieved?
We can develop formulations with smooth, matte, textured or more premium-looking finishes, depending on the requirements of the part and the mold.
Can the material properties be adjusted according to the application?
Yes. We adapt the formulation to meet the technical, mechanical, aesthetic and functional requirements of each project.
Does it generate microplastics during degradation?
No. beo is designed to biodegrade without fragmenting into persistent microplastics.
Can parts with complex geometries be produced?
Yes. beo can be adapted for parts with different levels of geometric complexity, provided that the design and process are properly aligned with the application.
Can rigidity, impact resistance or flexibility be adjusted?
Yes. We adapt the formulation to achieve the right balance between rigidity, impact resistance, elasticity and dimensional stability.
